Antioch has been our Parish's prominent Youth group for 24 years now and is still very much part of Parish life. The Antioch program has helped the youth of ages 16 to early 20s grow in faith and provided Christian fellowship for them. They have laughed and cried and bonded through Christ over the years and have been a significant part of our Parish.

Antioch is part of the music ministry at the 6pm Sunday Mass and has shared their gifts and talents in Parish social events like Christmas in July, Fundraisers for Charitable organisations, Confirmations, First Holy communions, Weddings, Funerals, Lentern and Advent periods in our Church calendar. They have also been blessed with the wisdom in leading the younger youth group SEVEN10 for years 7 to 10.

Antioch meets every Sunday evening after Mass at 7pm for dinner then an appointment with fellow Antiochers and JC! :) If you're reading this and happen to fall under the age group, WE WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU!

Seven10 is established by our Youth worker Corinne Lindsell and has been an active outlet for Youth in Years 7 to 10. A night of fun, bonding and Jesus happens every Friday night at 7pm to 9pm.

Salt ministry was recently established by our Parish Youth worker Corinne Lindsell. S.A.L.T stands for Spiritual Arts Learning and Theory and consists of different aspects. This includes:

  • Youth Bible Study
  • Lentern and Advent Bible Groups
  • SALT Music Ministry (run by Michael Last and Tiffany Ng)
  • SALT Drama (Holidays)

 

 

 

As part of the Shire Deanery's activities, Shireactiv8 holds
Lighthouse every first Saturday of the month.
This ministry aims to provide fellowship, worship and praise and faith talks for young adults age 18 - 35.
Young people from parishes in the Shire come together at 7pm for food, music and guest speakers every month.
